For your listening pleasure: You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet by Bachman Turner Overdrive (and why not?)

The Obligatory Yet Suprisingly Over-Complicated Links Page
- A website about comedy.
[NOTE: SOTCAA has moved from NotBBC, it's forum replaced with a Comedy Forum. More SOTCAA bits are online at SOTCAA Bits.]
- Rob S's site. Was once the home of SOTCAA.
The TV Forum is still there, but Bent Halo's The Goodies Toothpick Companion has gone. Also there is:
- It's an official Lee and Herring website, so just enjoy it. Lots of TMWRNJ clips.
- More Morris to download than you can shake a dead baby at. It's back online now but without the Brass Eye content.
- A fan club devoted to The Goodies. Lovely downloads, including a Goodies font.
- A lovely unofficial Monty Python page. You could spend days there. Much better than the official one. And my Meaning Of Life script's up there too, here.
- TJ Worthington's top magazine, with info on Chris Morris, Peter Cook, The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band, Hanna-Barbara cartoons, and lots of other great stuff. I'm mentioned on their incredibly well done Links page, which is worth a visit on it's own. Paintbox also has a online radio station.
- comedy online. songs of fun. speaking things. nonsense taped. conciousness stream. short sentences. lots full stops. caps lock off. from the entity who wrote approximately 1/27th of the SOTCAA Xmas Book.
- A lovely tribute to Cuddly Ken. Fab RealPlayer sounds and some great stills.
- More Neil Innes than you rightfully deserve.
Neil Innes' wonderful CDs can and should be ordered online here.
- "If I had all the money I'd spent on drink, I'd spend it on drink."
- Fantastic online encyclopedia about The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band.
- Ladies and gentlemen, Dirk, Stig, Nasty, and Barry: The fabulous Rutles! (I think it was the trousers).
- Official page for Ronnie Golden, the fantastic lead singer of The Fabulous Poodles and England's greatest party band Ronnie And The Rex. He played Buddy Holly in The Young Ones, too. The Salmon Dave page is shamelessly hilarious, and don't forget to download Shoe Bomb before it's no longer topical.
- A great Lee and Herring fansite with some rare downloads.
- Text-based humour from Peter O, a.k.a. Ted Kunterblast, a.k.a. a million other names.
-Visit culturenest for information on rare, out-of-print, and non-existent publications, courtesy of Mark "Mr" Griffiths' head.
- Ian Hislop's satire rag. Contains those Diana issues.
- The Graham Chapman Archives. Contains unpublished scripts, unheard mp3's, rare portrait stills, and unseen interview footage. Or at least it would've if it wasn't run by professional idiot Jim Yoakum. Instead it contains one pic of Graham (above), a link to a John Cleese website, and... erm.... that's it.
- Lo-Fi Dan seems like a nice chap. He signed my guestbook, and he has all of Brass Eye on VCD. And he screen-grabs attractive female TV stars and Teletext's letter pages, so his site must be worth a look. And it is. Part of ComedyNetUK.com.
- Fabbo resource for episode guides for hundreds of television shows. Essential if you've forgotten which episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show had a cameo by Danny Thomas as a thumb-stealing alien ("It Looks Like A Walnut", incidentally).
- And if you like The Monkees...
- Peter? Is it just me or has Davy ("the cute one") become more bitter and money-grabbing as he's got older? He's become the Eric Idle of the group, hasn't he? Davy, if you're reading this, put on your old white suit and start crooning Daddy's Song again. That'll make it all better.
- Peter? Hey Micky, You're so fine, You're so fine you blow my mind, Hey Micky.... Also of Micky merit is this page. I fancy his daughter.
- Peter? Here's a conversation that never happened: MICHAEL NESMITH: Hey, do y'all have Elephant Parts? SQUIDY: No, it's just the way my trousers hang.
[By the way, if anyone out there has copies of Michael Nesmith's Television Parts, please get in touch cos I want them. I've got Beatles/John Lennon/XTC demo tapes to swap.]
- Peter! Nice chap, snazzy website. It has a large jpeg of Peter Tork at the top, which is the sign of a good website in my opinion. (I understand that Google are going to add a Pete picture to the front of their site sometime next year). And he uses the same font in his logo as I do in mine. See!
- The official site of my favourite impressionist. Contains a Voice Bank full of RealPlayer files of all his impressions, and also a picture of Margaret Thatcher holding a huge rubber penis. And if you're a fan of the Spitting Image impressionists, Louise Gold's Website is also worth a look.
- This Frank Ifield site has a link to me which is nice of them, considering that I stole my sole Frank Ifield picture from their page.
- I wrote an article about The Young Ones for this magazine a few years ago. Contributed a few lines to a Fawlty Towers piece, too.
- This is the BBC Home Service...
(For the Beeb's 'comedy' site, click here)
- Channel 4.
- E4's ugly website.
- Auntie Beeb's official "I Love..." site. Couple of nice RealPlayer vids, although I hate RealPlayer.
- Unfunny tripe from The Artist Formerly Known As Dr Hackenbush.
- Charlie Brooker's mockery of a TV listings magazine.
- The BBC's mockery of a TV listings magazine.
- I'm mentioned on their 'Fun Stuff' page for some reason.
- We love you Beatles, Oh yes we do.... Play the Ticket To Ride Game. It is, quite literally, fab.
- The official page of The Simpsons. The What Badgers Eat page is a must.
- Lots of comedy downloads, including The Day Today, Alan Partridge, Victor Lewis-Smith, and some other not-so-good stuff.
- Oh Mein Papa... (NOTE: Simon Pegg will not be allowed in.)
-Weird Al Yankovic's official page. Not as good as this unofficial one.
- The official page for the moribund Mad Magazine.
(although to be honest you'd be better off at Doug's Mad Cover Site.)
- Is anybody still reading this far?
- What's going on? Wha-- ? Why am I on a Japanese box?
- The funniest page on the web. Just look at these genuine topic titles:
Yesterday's Television Stars? - We look at the people who have graced our screen all these years ago and wonder whether are still alive or not.
The Top 101 Commercials Of Yesterday - Was There A Particular Product Or Service That Was Advertised On Television Years Ago That You Used To Like? Well, Look Here To See All!
Television Days Of The 1980's - Looking At An Average Week Of 1980'S Television. Let's Go Down Memory Lane!
[NOTE: I mentioned the above page on the NotBBC TV Forum recently in a post entitled "I like this guy..." and containing the message ".. he has a odd definition of 'celebrity'" as well as the link. Well, GMH seems to have noticed this. Look at his new description for the page:
"This page even started a thread going on the Not BBC TV Forum, for some reason! Must be the controversy over the my claims to fame! The title of the thread that had this webpage link on was called "I like this guy". I beleive that "this guy" in the thread's title was obviously me? Thank you very much for promoting my website for me. Come to think of it, I like this guy who pasted it on the forum in the first place!"
Thanks for that, George. Just to let you know that you haven't let me down.]
More to come?
If you know of a link that should be here, then email me.
